Before joining MEG Consult, he worked at Grotes Builders By Design Sdn Bhd as an Assistant Project Engineer and at Jurutera Perunding WTA Sdn Bhd as an M&E Project Engineer. He also worked at CJ Neo & Partners as a Mechanical Engineer and at Solartech Sdn Bhd in business development and marketing. He has been involved in several major projects, including the Lake Side City Aurora Condominium, Residensi Harmoni 2, and Royal Regent Condominium. At MEG Consult, he has contributed to projects such as the District Cooling System for Kwasa Sentral and the Mixed Development on Lot PT 294 in Shah Alam.

Joshua Tan

He has an MBA in Financial Business Transformation. Mr. Tan has a lot of experience in leadership and business planning. He started at MEG Consult in April 2024. Before that, he worked in different roles in other companies.He worked as the Chief Strategy Officer at iFIBER Web Services, where he helped plan the company’s future and made sure the company stayed ahead of its competitors. He also worked as a Business Transformation Officer at Big Bad Wolf Books, where he helped change the way the business worked to make it better. Mr. Tan has also been the Chief Operating Officer at IOTX Group and the Director of Sales at Sunway Digital Wave.Mr. Tan is great at working with others to create and carry out business strategies. He helps make important decisions, makes sure the company grows, and leads teams of people. He is good at finding new opportunities for the company and improving the way the team works. Steven Looi Siew Khee

His career began at Elektrisola (M) Sdn Bhd, where he worked as an Electrical Engineer from 2006 to 2014, eventually becoming a Senior Electrical Engineer. Following this, he took on the role of Electrical Engineer at One Alpha M&E Consultants Sdn Bhd for a year. From 2015 to 2024, Ir. Phoon worked as an Electrical Engineer and Senior Associate at KTA Tenaga Sdn Bhd.
In 2024, he joined MEG Consult Sdn Bhd as an Associate Director. Throughout his career, Ir. Phoon has contributed to a wide range of high-profile projects, including shopping malls, high rise buildings, and mixed developments. Notable completed projects include Genting Casino and Mall, Four Seasons Place, and Ikano Mall. His professional career spans over 40 years in the power transmission and distribution industry. His involvement in the electricity cadre training started as early in 1979 under NEB scholarship, where upon successful completion in 1982, appointed as Technical Assistant at the Transmission Projects Department of NEB in the design/construction of HV and EHV overhead power line. Over the years, with continuing education program, he rose and took on roles in various departments such as Training Engineer in TNB Training Center ILSAS/UNITEN, Manager (Training and Development) in TNB Transmission HR department, Senior Engineer (Substation) in Transmission Engineering Department, Senior Manager in Asset Strategy and Development Department, Deputy Chief Engineer in Engineering Department of Transmission Division and Principal Engineer in the Grid Development Department, focusing on substation engineering design. Apart from power system engineering design and construction, his experience includes providing technical training to TNB staff and Asean utilities, being appointed as institution examiner to competency certifications within LLN/TNB and previous Electricity Supply Department of Malaysia. Upon his retirement from TNB, in 2022 he joined MEG Consult Sdn Bhd as a Technical Adviser, where he offers his expert guidance particularly in the design of HV and EHV power system. Aside, he is called to involve in sub-committee (safety) with Electricity Commission Malaysia in 2022 and as an invited Subject Matter Expert to ILSAS, TNB Training Center to this date. With his vast and extensive experience in power system engineering design, asset management, and competency training, he has contributed greatly to the development of Malaysia’s transmission/grid infrastructure. His deep technical knowledge and leadership in engineering make him a valuable asset in his field.

Ir. Wong Chow Loong holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University (1994) and is a highly experienced professional with over 30 years in the engineering, project management, and consultancy sectors. He is a Professional Engineer with a Practicing Certificate (PEPC) from the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and a member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (M.I.E.M). He also serves as a Radiation Protection Officer at the Institut Penyelidikan Nuklear Malaysia.Throughout his career, Ir. Wong has held significant roles, including Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, Electrical Engineer, and M&E Resident Engineer. Currently, he is the Director of Meg Consult Sdn Bhd, where he manages large-scale infrastructure and building projects. His expertise includes strategic project management, ensuring the timely completion of projects while maintaining budget, quality, and safety standards. He is adept in financial management, overseeing invoicing, payments, and receivables, and has substantial experience in M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) systems, including testing and commissioning various electrical systems such as power transformers, generators, LV switchgear, and chilled water systems.Ir. Wong has been instrumental in the development of high-rise residential and commercial buildings, logistical parks, and infrastructure systems across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and other regions. He has provided consultancy services for district cooling systems and mechanical and electrical projects for multiple industries. His leadership, technical expertise, and comprehensive knowledge of M&E systems have made him a key figure in successfully managing large-scale projects with construction costs ranging from RM 300 million to RM 900 million.
