Ir. Wong Chow Loong holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University (1994) and is a highly experienced professional with over 30 years in the engineering, project management, and consultancy sectors. He is a Professional Engineer with a Practicing Certificate (PEPC) from the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and a member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (M.I.E.M). He also serves as a Radiation Protection Officer at the Institut Penyelidikan Nuklear Malaysia.Throughout his career, Ir. Wong has held significant roles, including Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, Electrical Engineer, and M&E Resident Engineer. Currently, he is the Director of Meg Consult Sdn Bhd, where he manages large-scale infrastructure and building projects. His expertise includes strategic project management, ensuring the timely completion of projects while maintaining budget, quality, and safety standards. He is adept in financial management, overseeing invoicing, payments, and receivables, and has substantial experience in M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) systems, including testing and commissioning various electrical systems such as power transformers, generators, LV switchgear, and chilled water systems.Ir. Wong has been instrumental in the development of high-rise residential and commercial buildings, logistical parks, and infrastructure systems across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and other regions. He has provided consultancy services for district cooling systems and mechanical and electrical projects for multiple industries. His leadership, technical expertise, and comprehensive knowledge of M&E systems have made him a key figure in successfully managing large-scale projects with construction costs ranging from RM 300 million to RM 900 million.
